Best wine I've had and cheapest. Was hesitant to buy so cheap but I ONLY BUY THIS NOW. I DONT like sweet red and this is perfect. No bitter vinegar taste ive had from other wines. Cellared Absolute Surprise Aged Find. This was an experiment years in the making. Had bought some of the Gossips Sweet Red Lips for a party of in discerning guests who loved it. Sweet ready and easy to drink for an uneducated palate. I bought two dozen of the Cabernet Savignon to sample and lay down in the cellar. Opened a couple of bottles 7 years on to find a smooth drinking reasonably complex very drinkable red wine. Now with blind tasting and a bunch of wine snob friends I unveiled the bottle much to everyone's surprise. Something that was purchased many years ago at a bargain price had turned out to be a very prudent purchase indeed. The Warburton Estate did not put a foot wrong. The experiment proved worthwhile and dare I say this surprisingly pleasant drop will increase in value and collaring will lead to a very good drop of albeit lighter in presence a surprising well balanced delicious plum tasting red Cab Sav to be enjoyed by others who indeed have patience and space in their cellars. A 94 point wine which probably would not be taken seriously because of its price point or label.
