About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Packaging Line Maintenance Operator to join our team at our winery in Tharbogang, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting packaging line equipment to ensure smooth production flow, minimal downtime and high-quality output.

You will play an important role in supporting daily packaging operations, maintaining equipment performance and contributing to our commitment to safety and quality. We offer a competitive salary based on skills and experience. This position requires availability for day shift operations, with flexibility as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor packaging line equipment to ensure efficient and consistent production.
  • Perform routine maintenance, adjustments and minor repairs on packaging machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational faults to minimise downtime.
  • Conduct line changeovers, setup and equipment checks for different production runs.
  • Ensure packaging equipment is cleaned and maintained to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to optimise line performance.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety, quality and compliance standards.
  • Be available to work extended hours as required, particularly during peak periods.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience operating or maintaining packaging or production line equipment within a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and workplace safety.
  • Experience with automated or high-speed packaging equipment (desirable).
  • Possession of a Forklift Licence (desirable).
  • Must have unrestricted work rights in order to be eligible.
