About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations at our Tharbogang, NSW site. This is a hands-on role responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods across production and cellar environments.

You will play a key role in ensuring materials and finished products are transported safely and efficiently, supporting production flow, inventory accuracy, and overall operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with site procedures.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
  • Transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between warehouse, production, and cellar areas.
  • Stack and store goods in designated locations, maintaining orderly and efficient storage systems.
  • Conduct routine pre-operational checks on equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements.
  • Assist with stock control activities, including picking, packing, and inventory checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of goods movements and inventory transactions.
  • Follow all site safety procedures, including safe work practices and PPE requirements.
  • Support general warehouse and operational tasks as required.
  • Participate in peak production activities, shutdowns, and stocktakes as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid High Risk Work Licence (LF class) for forklift operation (required in NSW).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safe material handling and workplace safety practices.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform manual handling activities regularly.
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for record-keeping.
  • Must have unrestricted work rights in order to be eligible.
