About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Bottling Line Maintenance Operator to join our team at our winery in Tharbogang, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting bottling line equipment to ensure efficient production, minimal downtime and consistent product quality.
You will play a key role in supporting daily bottling operations, ensuring equipment reliability, completing line changeovers and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency throughout the bottling process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bottling line equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Perform routine maintenance, adjustments and minor repairs on bottling machinery and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and operational issues to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Complete bottling line setups, changeovers and equipment checks for different wine formats and production runs.
- Ensure bottling equipment is cleaned, maintained and operated in line with hygiene, food safety and quality standards.
- Monitor bottling processes to ensure correct fill levels, packaging presentation and product quality.
- Maintain accurate production, maintenance and downtime records.
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Work closely with production, cellar and maintenance teams to optimise bottling operations.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with workplace health and safety, quality and compliance requirements.
- Be available to work extended hours as required, particularly during peak production periods..
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience operating or maintaining bottling line, packaging or production equipment within a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with automated bottling equipment, fillers, labellers or conveyors (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality, safety and efficiency.
- Good understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
- Possession of a Forklift Licence (desirable).
- Must have unrestricted work rights in order to be eligible.
